In a
25-minute conversation with the media on Tuesday to discuss his team's current skid
, St. Louis Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong said one of the few positives of the early season has been the play of the team's fourth line.
On Thursday, however, that line is expected to be split up when the Blues host the New York Islanders at 7 p.m. at Enterprise Center (BSMW, 101 ESPN).

If Wednesday's practice is any indication, Blues Head Coach Craig Berube is looking to spread that fourth line energy around by moving Noel Acciari onto the top line with Brayden Schenn and Ryan O'Reilly.
"I'm just trying to find some line combinations," Berube said of the switch. "(Acciari) is a heavy player down in the offensive zone and could be a good complement to O'Reilly. It is what it is. Just trying to find some combinations and get some chemistry going here."
During Wednesday's practice, Berube had Logan Brown centering a fourth line that also included Alexey Toropchenko and Tyler Pitlick, and a second line that featured Pavel Buchnevich, Ivan Barbashev and Vladimir Tarasenko.
A new third line saw Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou re-united, this time with Jake Neighbours.
"Just a kid line," Berube said of Neighbours-Thomas-Kyrou. "They're all young guys. Thomas and Kyrou have played well in the past together, and Neighbours is a good complimentary player in my opinion. He does a lot of little things on the walls, going to the net, being around the net, heavy on pucks. And I've had the Russian line (together) before and play pretty well."
The Blues will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak on Thursday against the Islanders, who have won four straight.
