Donate to Hockey Fights Cancer
The St. Louis Blues and Blues Alumni are recognizing the 25th Anniversary of the National Hockey League’s fight against cancer. In conjunction with the celebration and the team’s continued efforts to raise awareness and funds in the search for a cure, the Blues are launching a new collaboration with the V Foundation for Cancer Research to fund a substantial cancer research grant for Siteman Cancer Center in this year-long fundraising campaign.
This grant will fund a cancer research project at Siteman Cancer Center, an NCI-Designated Cancer Center in St. Louis. Specifically, the cancer center will hold an internal competition to determine and nominate the strongest applicant to apply for the grant. Upon submission, the V Foundation’s scientific experts will carefully review application(s) to make a recommendation regarding funding. Once grants are awarded to a cancer researcher at Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center, recipient(s) will submit annual scientific and financial progress reports to track project progress and outcomes.
